About the event
Do you hate throwing away old books, even if they're terrible or boring or trashed? We do :/
So we're hosting a small workshop based around things you can make using old books. We'll try out making a flower out of book pages, christmas decorations and other random things that no one really needs, but are nice anyway.
No experience necessary, and we'll provide you with all the materials you need.
This workshop is free to attend, but places are limited - so you'll need to register! To book your spot, all you need to do is email wellingtonzinefest@gmail.com with your name and the event you'd like to register for.
The workshop runs from 5:30 to 7:30, and some food and drink will be provided.
Wellington Zinefest are teaming up with Book Haven to provide a series of entry-level craft and zinemaking workshops over May and June. Funding for this workshop comes from Creative New Zealand - shot guys!
