Pinkwashing Zine Workshop

Wellington Zinefest are working with Inside OUT Kōaro to host a zine workshop for queer youth. The workshop will explore the topic of 'Pinkwashing' - a term which describes how groups promote rainbow causes in superficial ways in order to market products and appear liberal or progressive.  Co-hosted  by designer Sophie Hansen, we'll spend the workshop discussing  pinkwashing and producing creative responses to put together into a  zine. No previous experience or creative talent required - just come  with an open mind!  To book, you just need to fill out the form  below. Once we've got your registration, we'll email you a confirmation.  We'll also send you some simple resources on Pinkwashing to read in  advance.  The workshop will run from 4pm til 6pm, and be held at the Inside OUT Kōaro office, which is on Anvil House Level 3/138 Wakefield Street, Te Aro, Wellington.
